Dumpster size questions
What size dumpster do I need for a home cleanout?
A 10-yard handles a garage, attic or a room or two. A 20-yard is the usual pick for a whole-home or estate cleanout, and a 30-yard for very large homes with furniture throughout.
What size dumpster do I need for a kitchen or bathroom remodel?
A 15-yard fits most bathroom remodels and smaller kitchens; a 20-yard fits a full kitchen remodel with cabinets, countertops, flooring and drywall.
What size dumpster do I need for a roof?
A 10, 15 or 20-yard depending on roof size and layers. Shingles are heavy, so tell us the square footage and number of layers and we will confirm the size.
What size dumpster do I need for concrete or dirt?
A 10-yard. Concrete, brick, dirt and tile are limited by weight, not space, so a larger container would hit the weight limit long before it is full.
How many pickup truck loads fit in each dumpster?
Roughly 4 to 6 loads in a 10-yard, 8 to 9 in a 15-yard and 10 to 13 in a 20-yard. A 30-yard holds noticeably more for whole-home and construction jobs.
What if I pick the wrong size?
If it fills up early, call or text 704-690-4445 and we will swap it for an empty one. When unsure between two sizes, size up for bulky debris and down for heavy debris.
