Only three things change it: going over 3 tons ($95/ton), keeping it past the 7 days included ($15/day), and the $2/mi fuel surcharge based on your one-way distance from our Monroe yard. Volume, not weight, is why you rent a 30
Framing scrap, packaging, drywall offcuts, cabinets and bulky demo debris take up space long before they get heavy. The 30-yard gives you the room; the 3 tons included covers most loads. If your debris is dense (concrete, brick, dirt), a smaller container is usually the better value.
How we measured: every load is weighed on the landfill scale and recorded on the order. Figures cover every Snappy 30-yard rental with a recorded weight, January – September 2026. "Company orders" means the order was placed under a business name.

One 30 or two 20s?

The 30 costs $200 more for one extra ton and 10 more cubic yards. If your problem is weight rather than volume, keep the 20 and pay $95 for the extra ton.

Delivery and placement
The 30-yard needs the most room: roughly 16 ft of container plus space for our truck to back in straight, and clear overhead space when we unload and pick up. It's ideal for job sites, commercial lots and wide driveways. The 7-ft walls are best loaded through the rear door or with equipment. Boards under the rails to protect concrete are available on request. Street placement may need a permit; see permits and placement rules by city.
