Snappy Dumpster Rental is a Mecklenburg County preferred mulch and compost hauler. We pick up the county's mulch and Queen City Compost and deliver it to your home, job site or business in Charlotte and across Mecklenburg County.

Every load is quoted for your job, and you choose how it arrives: dumped where you want it, left in a roll-off container so you can unload at your own pace, or spread for you. As a county preferred hauler, we don't mark up the county's material cost.

Made from tree trunks only, with no leaves. A clean, uniform mulch for flower beds, landscaping and around trees.

Brush Mulch

A mix of hard and soft woods that can include limbs and leaves. A good fit for natural areas, paths and larger spaces.

Queen City Compost

Mecklenburg County's screened compost, made from leaves, ground trees and yard waste, then heated and cured. Mix it into your soil for gardens, new beds and lawns. It isn't meant to be used on its own.

HOW MUCH MULCH OR COMPOST DO I NEED?

Measure the length and width of the area in feet and multiply them to get square feet. One cubic yard covers about 160 square feet at 2 inches deep, or about 110 square feet at 3 inches deep. Not sure? Send us your measurements and we'll do the math.

Every delivery is quoted. Your price depends on the product, how many cubic yards you need, how far we're driving, and whether we dump it, leave it in a roll-off or spread it. As a Mecklenburg County preferred hauler, we don't mark up the county's material cost.

    Yes. Saturday deliveries run from 8 AM to noon. We're closed Sundays.

    Queen City Compost should be mixed into your soil rather than used on its own. It's great for improving garden beds and lawns.
