Sizes and pricing
What size dumpsters are available?
We rent 10, 15, 20 and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters. The 10-yard suits smaller cleanouts and heavy debris, the 15 and 20-yard handle most home renovations and cleanouts, and the 30-yard is for larger construction, demolition and high-volume projects. Not sure? Try the dumpster size finder.
How much does a dumpster rental cost?
Standard rates are $375 for a 10-yard, $425 for a 15-yard, $450 for a 20-yard and $650 for a 30-yard. That includes delivery, pickup, up to 7 days and a weight allowance. Extra days are $15 each, overage is $95 per ton, and a $2 per mile fuel surcharge applies from our Monroe yard. See dumpster rental prices.
Is delivery and pickup included in the price?
Yes. Delivery, pickup, disposal up to the included weight and 7 days are all in the flat price. The only add-ons are extra days, weight over the allowance, the fuel surcharge and special items like tires.
How do I know what size dumpster I need?

What size dumpster is best for a construction or remodeling project?

Can I upgrade to a larger size after booking?
Call or text us as soon as you know and we will do our best to change the size, depending on availability.
Weight and what can go in
How much weight is included in a dumpster rental?
1 ton with a 10-yard, 1.5 tons with a 15-yard, 2 tons with a 20-yard and 3 tons with a 30-yard. Weight over the allowance is $95 per ton, billed to the hundredth of a ton from the landfill scale ticket. The maximum load for any size is 6 tons because of our trucks' gross vehicle weight rating.
What happens if my dumpster is overweight?
You pay $95 per ton for the weight over your allowance, billed to the hundredth of a ton. If you think your project may run heavy, call us first and we will help you pick the right size.
What items are NOT allowed in the dumpster?
Hazardous and restricted materials, including wet paint (fully dried paint is fine), paint thinner, gasoline, oils, antifreeze, batteries, propane tanks and other chemicals. Refrigerators and AC units with refrigerant need special handling. See what cannot go in a dumpster.
Can I put tires in the dumpster?
Yes, off the rim, for $25 each. Call or text before loading them and we will tell you where to place them.
Can I put roofing shingles in the dumpster?
Yes. Shingles are heavy, so keep the weight allowance in mind. For a full tear-off, tell us the roof size and layers and we will recommend a size.
Can I put construction and demolition debris in the dumpster?
Yes: wood, drywall, flooring and similar materials. Concrete, dirt and other heavy material are covered below.
Can I put concrete, dirt or other heavy material in the dumpster?
Yes, but they hit the weight limit quickly. A 10-yard is usually right; call us before you book so we can help you avoid overage.
Can I put household junk and furniture in the dumpster?

Can I put appliances or mattresses in the dumpster?
Mattresses are generally allowed. Appliances with refrigerant, like refrigerators and air conditioners, cannot go in a standard dumpster; call us to discuss options.
How full can I load the dumpster?
Only to the top edge of the dumpster (the top rail). We tarp every load so nothing falls on the road, and an overloaded dumpster cannot be tarped. If it is overfilled we cannot pick it up and a dry run charge applies. Ask us if a load looks questionable.
What is the best way to fill the dumpster?
Use the rear doors to walk in, load large items first and fill the gaps with smaller ones. Breaking items down saves space.
Where does my trash go?
Most of it goes to the Union County landfill. Clean fill dirt, brick and concrete are recycled at a facility in Waxhaw, and metal is recycled at the scrap yard in Monroe. On junk removal jobs, we do our best to donate good, usable items.
Delivery, placement and permits
Do you offer same-day dumpster delivery?
Yes. Call or text 704-690-4445 by 10 AM within 30 miles of our Monroe yard and same-day delivery is guaranteed. Online orders are scheduled for tomorrow or later, and we guarantee service within 24 hours or less. See same-day dumpster rental.
Do you deliver on Saturdays?
Yes. We deliver on Saturdays from 8 AM to noon.
How soon can you deliver a dumpster in Charlotte?
Usually the same day, and always within 24 hours. Same-day delivery is guaranteed for addresses within 30 miles of our Monroe yard when you call or text 704-690-4445 by 10 AM. Farther out, we still work to deliver the same day; it just isn't guaranteed. Anywhere in our service area gets delivery within 24 hours.
How much notice do I need to schedule delivery?
Book as early as you can for a specific date. For today, call or text by 10 AM; online booking starts with tomorrow.
Do I need to be there when the dumpster is delivered?
No. Give us placement instructions and we will send photos before our truck leaves.
Can you place the dumpster on my driveway?
Yes. Driveway protection boards are available on request; just ask when you book.
What surface can the dumpster sit on?
Concrete, asphalt or hard-packed gravel is best. We can set it on grass if you ask, but we are not responsible for damage to the lawn.
How much space do I need for delivery?
About 12 ft of length for a 10 or 15-yard, 14 ft for a 20-yard and 16 ft for a 30-yard, plus room for the truck to back in straight and clear overhead space free of branches and wires.
Do I need a permit to have a dumpster delivered?
Not when the dumpster sits on your driveway or yard. Street or right-of-way placement may need a town permit. See permits and placement rules by city, and check your HOA rules too.
Can the dumpster be placed on the street?
Sometimes, but most towns require a right-of-way permit for street placement. See permits by city or call us.
Rental period and changes
How long can I keep the dumpster?
The standard rental includes 7 days. Keep it longer for $15 per extra day; there is no need to rush.
What if I need more time with my dumpster?
Call or text before your rental period ends and we will extend it at $15 per day.
What if my dumpster is full before my scheduled pickup?
Call or text us and we can arrange an early pickup, or swap it for an empty dumpster if you have more to load.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my delivery?
Call or text as soon as your plans change and we will reschedule or cancel.

What areas do you serve?
We are based in Monroe, NC and serve Union County, Charlotte and the Greater Charlotte area, including Indian Trail, Matthews, Mint Hill, Waxhaw, Stallings and Concord. See the service area.

Do you charge extra for delivery farther away?
A fuel surcharge of $2 per mile, one-way from our Monroe yard, applies to every delivery, so farther addresses cost a bit more. We confirm it before you book.

Do you work with contractors and commercial customers?

Do you offer contractor pricing?
Yes. Contractor and commercial accounts pay $275 per delivery or swap plus $95 per ton and a $2 per mile fuel surcharge, with 30 days on site per container. Call or text 704-690-4445 to set up an account.
Can I set up recurring or multiple dumpsters for an ongoing project?
Yes. We run multiple containers and scheduled swaps, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, or on call. Each swap starts a fresh 30 days.
